'Big No': Iran Rejects US Terms; Says They Wants Everything It Couldn't Get Through War

Tehran, Iran: The Islamic Republic of Iran announced that it has said a big no to the US terms and conditions during the historic peace talks held in Pakistan between the US and Iranian delegations on Saturday.

Iran said the US demands everything they could not achieve through war. US vice president JD Vance returned after the 21 hours-long negotiations failed to achieve an agreement.

Iran has called US demands excessive. Iranian foreign ministry said though two sides reached a consensus on some issues, they held different views regarding certain crucial matters. ‘Finally, the talk did not reach an agreement,’ the ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei said. Earlier, there were reports that the US has agreed to release the frozen Iranian assets.

However, the absence of an agreement between the two warring countries has further left the world in uncertainty amid continued disruption of oil supply through the crucial water way.
