Second Shipment Of Donated Medical Supplies From India Dispatched To Iran: Iran Embassy Tweets

New Delhi: The Embassy of Iran in India has stated that the second shipment of donated medical supplies from the people of India has been dispatched to the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In a video posted on the official X handle, Iran’s Ambassador to India, Dr. Mohammad Fathali, thanked the Indian people and government for their support to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The shipment follows an initial delivery of medical aid and includes contributions facilitated by the Iranian Embassy in Delhi.

 

India has dispatched its first shipment of medical aid to Iran on Maarch 8 to assist with humanitarian relief efforts amid rising regional tensions. The aid was received by the Iranian Red Crescent Society in Tehran. The second shipment comes amid the US-Iran peace talk in Pakistan.
