Islamabad, Pakistan: Pakistan is all set to receive delegates from the United States and Iran on key negotiations to end the ongoing conflict in West Asia. The war has caused damage to much of the world, by disrupting oil flow and market volatility as Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz.

Despite the US-Iran ceasefire announced this week, bombing continues in Lebanon and some other regions, prompting Iran to partially close the key waterway again. Since the US-Israel launched attack against Iran, Tehran’s retaliatory blockade of the critical shipping route, led to a global shortage of oil and gas and triggered the worst energy crisis in history.

Pakistan’s has blocked roads leading up to Islamabad’s red zone, home to Parliament, key Government installations, luxury hotels, embassies and the offices of foreign organisations for the high-stake negotiation between US and Iranian delegates.
