US, Iran To Hold Second Round Of Talks in Pakistan As Ceasefire Deadline Looms
Diplomatic efforts are underway to revive US-Iran talks and Pakistan has reportedly offered to host the next round of talks in Islamabad. Reports about fresh talks come days after initial negotiations failed in Islamabad.
The second negotiation comes days before the two-week ceasefire between the two warring nations ends, aiming to avoid another confrontation risking the lives and economic stability of countries around the world.

According to US media reports, President Donald Trump has shown a willingness to resume in-person negotiations soon if he believes Tehran is ready. Discussions were still underway about a new round of talks.
On Sunday, US and Iran conducted a 21 hours of face-to-face talks in Islamabad, without reaching a deal, leaving the fate of the fragile, two-week ceasefire still unclear. The US delegation said that Iran did not agree to its terms while Tehran clarified that it said a big no to the US demands as they were excessive and that what they could not achieve through the war.
