US Launches Counterattacks After 2 Soldiers Killed, 1 Missing In Iranian Attack On Base In Jordan
At least two US military personnel were killed and one remains missing as Iran carried out airstrike in Jordan. US Central Command (CENTCOM) said carried out counter attack striking Iranian military facilities and “targeted Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces that launched attacks against U.S. service members in Jordan on July 17, causing casualties.
The Iranian medium-to-intermediate-range ballistic missiles struck Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, killing the US soldiers. US said it had completed an eighth straight night of attacks against Iran after the US military casualties in Jordan.

Iran’s army said on Sunday it had targeted two US bases in Kuwait with drones in response to American attacks on Iranian territory. The Islamic Republic said it carried out large-scale attacks with kamikaze drones against the U.S. military’s ammunition depot at Camp Udairi and the Patriot radar system and air surveillance radar at Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait.
