US Strikes Multiple Sites In Iran; Iran Hits Back At US-Linked Gulf Targets
Tehran, Iran: Violating the fragile peace deal, the US attacked Iran on Saturday, and continued to hit multiple sites across Iran on Sunday, June 28. The US central command has said that it targeted at least 10 various sites, including military surveillance infrastructure. Massive explosions struck Shahid Rajaee port in Bandar Abbas in Southern Iran.
Israel also continued its offensive across the southern Lebanese town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa, killing several people. Iran has retaliated by targeting US military targets in the gulf countries. On Saturday, Iran launched drones at US targets in Bahrain.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said on Sunday it carried out strikes against Kuwait and Bahrain in retaliation for U.S. attacks on Iranian territory, warning any further aggression would be met with a “crushing response.”
The US president on Saturday had threatened that its military will “complete the job” if Iran doesn’t comply with the ceasefire, though Tehran and Washington appear to remain at odds on even basic points in their memorandum of understanding, including control of the strait and how Iran will spend its unfrozen funds.
