
Lone Japanese Protester Yusuke Furusawa Marks 600+ Days Demanding Gaza Genocide Halt
The Japanese activist Yusuke Furusawa has been protesting alone for over 600 days on Japan’s streets, drawing people’s attention to the Israeli atrocities in Gaza and demanding that the Genocide in Gaza stop.
Furusawa can be seen on Japanese streets carrying placards of ‘Free Palestine’ and ‘Stop Gaza Genocide’, raising slogans and speaking against what is happening in Gaza. He staged a single protest in Tokyo carrying a message to stop the war in Gaza.

Some of his protests have targeted Israeli products and companies, including Starbucks and McDonald’s, asking people to boycott them. According to the Japanese activists, Japan’s public has remained aloof to the ongoing Genocide in Gaza, which has pushed them to speak more about Gaza.

Yusuke says that no country is speaking against the Gaza Genocide, and Israel is killing children and burning people in the name of self-defence.
The Japanese activist has received support from many and has also been harassed by the Israeli supporters.
Furusawa wants the Japanese government to take a stronger stand against Israel and question its G77 membership if it can not take the side of the people who are being killed in Palestine.

International law and humanitarian laws must not be violated. He says to speak up for humanity every day and terrible conditions in Palestine.
Japan government has opposed Israel’s expanded military operations in Gaza, urging all parties to return to the negotiation table to prevent further deterioration of the humanitarian situation.
