Fahad Maymoon: With Papparasikal, Malayalam To Get Its Youngest Producer EverPapparasikal, the upcoming Malayalam movie directed by Munas Moideen, has many laurels in its kitty even before its release. The movie boasts the youngest Malayalam movie producer: Fahad Mymoon. This young influencer-cum-digital marketer-cum-actor turned a producer when he was just 20 years old. He is one of the producers in the movie, the other being Sreejith Varma of Sreevarma Productions. Additionally, the movie marks the last appearance of the Malayalam great Innocent, with the dubbing for the late actor being done by none other than industry superstar Dileep. This movie features a different treatment in its colour palette, and it is said to have been made to international standards.
Reportedly, the Papparasikal approaches a serious psycho theme with a unique treatment, written by the director himself.
“The movie has a variety of treatments to present a psycho thriller. This is going to be a new experience for Malayalam moviegoers. Dhyan Sreenivasan will be seen with a different makeover in the movie,” says Fahad Mymoon, who is excited about the movie as he also plays an important character with a complete negative shade.
A youngster donning many hats
Fahad has an interesting story to tell about him before he rose to fame in different areas of mass media and marketing: In the recent past, he conducted an event of one of his ventures in a hotel at Kerala’s Ernakulam. Four years ago, as an 18-year-old, he was not allowed inside the hotel.
“This is how your life treats you. One day, at one place you are not accepted, but the next day you have been received there with bouquets,” says a 22-year old Fahad who handles digital marketing of hundreds of companies in India and outside. His digital marketing company now has offices in Dubai and Calicut. He, with partnership, runs a restaurant as well.
Entry into movies and entertainment industry has been natural to this young influencer. Currently, he has done several movies, produced a movie, and currently his production company (Q Media) is producing a web series.
He is really proud about his engagement in Papparasikal. “I was able to do a lot of things in materialising the fact that the movie has been done finally. I had gone to many people to convince them to be part of the project,” he says.
Papparasikal’s story is based in Idukki and features many famed names from Kollywood, including Dhyan Sreenivasan, Bhagath Manuel, Jaffer Idukki, TG Ravi, Nirmal Palazhi, Nisha Sarang, among others.
The dubbing of the movie has already been completed, and according to a knowledgeable source, the movie is expected to be released in two months.
“The dubbing has been completed in Chalachitra, and the release will happen in two months, which will be a theatrical release,” he said.
Apart from this movie, he was also part of 2022 Suraj Venjaramoodu movie Autorickshawkarante Bharya, Sreenath Bhasi’s Namukku Kodathiyil Kaanam, Pratibha Tutorials and Pazhaya Niyamam.
Fahad’s plans and ventures do not stop at acting or digital marketing or even producing movies; he aims to start his movie distribution business in 2025.
