It’s the bold new Hyundai Alcazar, with versatile 6 and 7-seater SUV, equipped with side cladding, connected led tail lamps, bridge-type roof rails and a skid plate. With its muscular stance, futuristic flair, and head-turning style, this car gives you driving pleasure.

Hyundai India has revealed the Alcazar facelift and announced the commencement of bookings at its dealerships and online portal. The booking amount for the refreshed three-row SUV is Rs 25,000. The Hyundai Alcazar facelift is open for booking in four trims and six and seven-seat configurations, with the choice of a petrol or a diesel engine, each with their respective manual and automatic gearbox options.

The Alcazar facelift will be available in Executive, Prestige, Platinum and Signature trims, with the top-spec Signature expected to get more equipment than the outgoing model, especially in terms of connected car tech and a Level 2 ADAS suite.

In terms of design, the refreshed SUV gets a Creta facelift-like nose, though the H-shaped DRLs are unique, which is flanked by two light units, and all new front bumpers. The sides sport 18-inch alloy wheels with a fresh design and the rear tail-lights feature an H-shaped pattern, with an LED light bar connecting the units.  There’s a new silver-finished bumper. The brand has also introduced the Robust Emerald Matte finish for exterior paint, which makes the total colour options to nine.

Hyundai has confirmed that the 160hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and the 116hp, 1.5-litre diesel units will continue, as will their respective gearbox options. More details regarding the Alcazar facelift, such as the exact variant break-up and its interiors, have yet to be revealed. While the manual gearbox is standard, the petrol has a 7-speed dual-clutch, and the diesel gets a 6-speed torque convertor.

The prices for the Alcazar facelift will be revealed on September 9, but we expect it to have a small premium over the current model, which costs between Rs 16.78 lakh and Rs 20.64 lakh for the petrol versions and Rs 17.78 lakh to Rs 21.28 lakh for the diesel ones. The booking amount for the updated Alcazar is Rs 25,000. Customers are all set for an Intelligent and Versatile ride.
