The 2025 Kawasaki Z900, which retails for Rs 9.52 lakh, features a new TFT display, updated appearance, and major electronic enhancements including quickshifter and cruise control. Its powerful 948cc engine is still present, but improvements to the tires and brakes improve performance. These upgrades maintain the Z900’s competitiveness against competitors such as the Triumph Street Triple R and Honda CB650R in India’s middleweight naked market.

Only the petrol versions of the Alcazar, beginning with the second-from-base Prestige grade, had panoramic sunroofs up to this point. In order to keep the price of the diesel versions comparable to that of the gasoline-powered models and to save fuel, the diesel versions were not equipped with a panoramic sunroof. By forgoing the panoramic sunroof, Hyundai was able to reduce the weight of the Alcazar diesel by roughly 50 kg, which contributed to a fuel efficiency of more than 20 kpl, which is something that buyers look for in a diesel.

The popularity of panoramic sunroofs among Indian automobile purchasers is well known, though, and Hyundai appears to have catered to this demand. Between the current Prestige and Platinum trims, the new Corporate trim has a panoramic sunroof, 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone air conditioning, ambient lighting, a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charger, six airbags, and ESC in addition to LED headlamps.

Both a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AT gearbox are available for the new Corporate version of the Alcazar diesel, which has a 1.5-liter engine that generates 116 horsepower and 250 Nm. The 7-speed DCT gearbox was previously only available on the Platinum trim, which costs Rs 20.94 lakh, but the new Prestige petrol-DCT model lowers the price by 2.30 lakh. The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, which generates 160 horsepower and 253 Nm of torque, is linked to the DCT gearbox.

For the first time, Hyundai has added a panoramic sunroof to the Alcazar’s diesel versions with the new Corporate trim, which starts at Rs 17.87 lakh. Despite earlier concerns about fuel economy, this action responds to high customer demand. Additionally, the Prestige trim makes the gasoline-DCT combo more widely available. The goal of these tactical changes is to make the Alcazar more appealing and competitive in the Indian market.
