Range Rover SV Masāra Edition Launched In India At Rs 4.99 Crore & Goes Desi

Range Rover SV Masāra Edition

A new special edition Range Rover vehicle designed specifically for India has been introduced by Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). This limited edition car, known as the Range Rover SV Masāra Edition, costs Rs 4.99 crore (ex-showroom). There will only be 12 of these SUVs made. Following the Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition, this is the second limited edition Range Rover to be introduced in India this year.

As the name implies, JLR’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) group constructed the Masara edition, just like they did the Ranthambore edition. Range Rover claims that the Sanskrit origin of the word “Masara” comes from the precious sapphires that are found in the Himalayan region.

The Masara Edition differs from the standard model primarily in appearance. The warm tones of Corinthian Bronze and a custom finish pack of silver chrome enhance the exterior’s Satin Blue colour scheme. The roof and mirror caps also have this bronze dual-tone silver and bronze treatment, and the Range Rover lettering on the bonnet and tailgate is finished in bronze.

The Masara Edition also uses a similar dual-tone scheme inside the interior, contrasting the lighter Perlino leather with the opulent Liberty Blue leather to create a Bespoke effect. To intentionally establish a visual separation between the rows, the beige upholstery of the rear seats contrasts with the deep blue leather trim of the front seats. The dashboard also features this colour scheme, which unifies the interior with a sophisticated and unified look.

Custom paintwork, unique highlights, specialised wheels, and specially embroidered seats with scatter cushions are just a few of the specific upgrades available on the Masāra Edition. To further highlight its uniqueness, the car has SV Bespoke tread plates with the words “Masāra Edition” and “1 of 12” engraved on them.

Other amenities of the Range Rover Masara Edition include a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, a 13.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, a four-zone climate control system, a loud Meridian sound system, and a powered tailgate. A 360-degree camera, ESC, several airbags, and an Advanced Driver Assistance System are among the safety features.
