The BYD Atto 3 has been formally unveiled with a makeover. The all-electric BYD SUV receives notable outward upgrades and enhanced ADAS technology, but the inside has not yet been revealed. Slimmer and sportier air intakes flank a wider trapezoidal air dam on the front end of the facelifted Atto 3. The headlights and the characteristic chrome-plated strip between them remain unchanged, but the 18-inch alloy wheels have a fresh look. Along with a new roof spoiler with twin brake lights and a reworked rear bumper, the D-pillars have also been partially blackened out.

The “God’s Eye C” ADAS system, one of the standout features of the Atto 3 facelift, makes use of 29 sensors throughout the SUV, four surround-view cameras, five long-range cameras, five mm-wave radars, twelve ultrasonic radars, and a three-camera block installed underneath the windshield. According to BYD, the facelifted Atto 3 has six intelligent parking modes and 10 high-speed navigation situations.

The Atto 3 makeover will probably not alter mechanically. A 60.5kWh LFP battery powers the India-spec Atto 3, which has a single front-mounted motor that produces 204 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque. The Atto 3 is also available in a 49.9kWh version that produces the same amount of power but has a reduced WLTP range of 345km as opposed to the 420km of the 60.5kWh version.
The business has not yet disclosed its precise Atto 3 facelift launch schedule. The facelifted Atto 3 is probably going to arrive in India as well, since BYD has been trying to increase its footprint there. While keeping its tried-and-true electric drivetrain, the facelifted BYD Atto 3 has increased aerodynamics, ADAS capabilities, and sharper design. The upgraded Atto 3 is anticipated to improve BYD’s standing in the EV market because to its improved safety technology, redesigned look, and more emphasis on India. Although the exact date of its formal launch in India is yet unknown, it should be shortly.
