Jeep Grand Cherokee Signature Edition Launched At Rs 69.04 Lakh With More Features

At Rs 69.04 lakh, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Signature Edition was introduced. In India, Jeep’s flagship SUV’s limited-edition special edition costs Rs 1.54 lakh more and has more amenities than the Grand Cherokee Limited (O) model. This is what the premium gets you.

The Signature Edition adds motorized side stairs to the already well-equipped Grand Cherokee Limited (O) model (Rs 67.50 lakh), which makes getting in and out of the five-seat SUV easier. Two 11.6-inch Android-based touchscreen infotainments with built-in speakers and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and AUX connectivity are available to passengers in the back. Additionally, front and rear dash cams are fitted into the Grand Cherokee Signature Edition.

The only 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that powers the current fifth-generation Grand Cherokee generates 272 horsepower and 400 Nm. This unit is connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission, which uses Jeep’s four-wheel drive technology to distribute power to all four wheels.

Large luxury SUVs such as the Volvo XC90 (Rs 1.04 crore), Range Rover Velar (Rs 87.90 lakh), Mercedes-Benz GLE (Rs 1.02 crore-1.11 crore), Audi Q7 (Rs 90.48 lakh-99.81 lakh), and BMW X5 (Rs 97.80-1.13 crore) are competitors of the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Keep in mind that the Audi and Volvo can accommodate up to seven people, whilst the Grand Cherokee, GLE, X5, and Velar can only accommodate five.

At Rs 69.04 lakh, the recently released Jeep Grand Cherokee Signature Edition is an alluring package for SUV consumers looking for more luxury and upgraded features. With notable upgrades like motorized side steps for better accessibility and dual 11.6-inch Android-based rear touchscreen infotainments with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for passenger entertainment, this special edition, which is priced higher than the Limited (O) variant, justifies its Rs 1.54 lakh premium. Additionally, integrated dash cams on the front and back increase safety and convenience.

The Signature Edition’s potent 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, which produces 272 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, is still mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and Jeep’s reliable four-wheel-drive system. Its feature upgrades and competitive price against luxury SUVs like the Volvo XC90, Range Rover Velar, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Audi Q7, and BMW X5 make it a strong contender in the premium SUV sector, even if it is still a 5-seater, unlike other 7-seater competitors.
