Specifications and Powertrain
The Mercedes-Maybach SUV is expected to be sold in a sole 680 variant, which was first unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show. In the international market, the EQS 680 features a 107.8 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 600km. The battery pack is mated to dual electric motors, effectively making the Maybach EQS an all-wheel-drive. This helps the electric SUV accelerate from 0-100kmph in 4.4 seconds, while it can achieve a top speed of 210kmph. The battery-electric motor combination makes 649bhp and 950Nm of torque.

Feature packed EQS 680
Again, going by the global spec vehicle, the Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV gets a long list of comfort features. The interior gets a 15-speaker Burmester 4D surround sound system, active ambient lighting, Nappa leather seats, infotainment controls at the rear, powered curtains. In terms of safety, the luxury electric SUV will get multiple airbags, 360-degree cameras, ADAS, ABS, EBD, traction control, and various drive modes: Eco, Sport, Offroad, Individual, and Maybach mode.
