Hyundai launched the Creta Knight Edition in an all-black avatar and the new lineup starts from Rs 14.51 lakh to Rs 20.15 lakh, ex-showroom. The 2024 Creta Knight Edition is available in two powertrain options — the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel. At the moment, the turbo petrol isn’t part of the new range. The Creta Knight Edition gets all-black design elements without any new additional features.
The Creta Knight Edition comes in two variants, the S(O) and the SX(O) with an option of manual or automatic transmissions. Each engine has four offerings. The NA range starts from Rs 14.51 lakh to Rs 18.88 lakh while the diesel costs from Rs 16.08 lakh to Rs 20.15 lakh, ex-showroom. Regardless of the variant, the Knight Edition is Rs 15,000 more premium than the standard Creta trims.

The Creta Knight Edition has a great road presence that would make the Cape Cruiser proud. All the design elements are completely blacked out like the front grille, matt black Hyundai badges in front and rear, 17-inch alloy wheels with red calipers, the front and rear skid plates and the ORVMs. Apart from this, it also sports the Knight logo, black-painted roof rails, C-pillars and the rear spoiler.
The all-black theme is carried over in the cabin with exclusive brass-coloured inserts on the gear lever, switches on the centre console and the steering wheel, on the dashboard and the upholstery getting brass switching and piping. Customers can further spruce up the Knight Edition by opting for the Titan Grey Matte colour option for an additional Rs 5,000 and the Dual Tone option for Rs 15,000.
The Creta Knight edition is based on the S(O) and SX(O) variants of the SUV. The changes include a blacked-out grille, black logos and black alloy wheels with red brake calipers. The skid plates, roof rails, C-pillar garnish, spoiler and ORVM caps are all blacked out too.On the inside, it gets an all-black layout with brass-coloured inserts as well as metal pedals. The gear lever and leather seats also feature the brass-coloured stitching and piping, respectively.
Available in a black paint scheme, the Creta Knight can also be had with the Titan Grey matte paint scheme at an additional price of Rs 5,000. Further, this colour is also available with a black roof for an extra Rs 15,000.The pre-facelift Creta was also available with a Knight edition version. However, instead of the brass-coloured inserts, it featured red inserts in the cabin.

The Hyundai Creta Knight is available with the 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol and the 1.5-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine options. The former makes 115hp and 144Nm, while the latter puts out 116hp and 250Nm. The petrol engine is available with a 6-speed MT or an optional CVT, while the diesel motor can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
