Aramco, the Saudi Arabian Oil group company, has announced and appointed new Business Line Executive Vice President (EVP) positions in its Upstream and Downstream operating segments.
Aramco is a Saudi Arabian petroleum and natural gas company based in Dhahran.
The President positions in the Upstream and Downstream positions were already established in July this year. And the current position creation along with it is helpful in directing ARAMCO’s long-term strategy across its value chain and global portfolio, said the recent ARAMCO press release.
The following are the new Business Line EVP appointments and is already approved by the Board of Directors:
Upstream:

Abdul Hameed A. Al Dughaither has been appointed as Business Line Executive Vice President of Exploration, Petroleum Engineering & Drilling.

Abdulkarim A. Al Ghamdi has been appointed as Business Line Executive Vice President of Gas.
Those who are appointed in the Upstream position are supposed to report to the Upstream President.
Downstream:

Ibrahim Q. Al Buainain has been appointed as Business Line Executive Vice President of Global Manufacturing

Yasser M. Mufti has been appointed as Business Line Executive Vice President of Products & Customers.
Those who are appointed in the Downstream position are supposed to report to the Downstream President.
