Big Ticket Resumes Operations in the UAE, Next Live Draw On June 3 (image-Facebook/Big Ticket Abu Dhabi)Following the temporary pause in operations initiated last month, Big Ticket, the renowned raffle operator based in Abu Dhabi, has announced the resumption of its operations starting May 9, with the eagerly anticipated live draw scheduled for June 3.
During the month of May, customers purchasing tickets for the upcoming draw will have an exciting opportunity to win Dh10 million. Big Ticket has also introduced a special promotion where customers buying two tickets will receive one additional ticket for free.
Big Ticket, with a rich history of 32 years in the UAE and highly popular among the residents, had previously stated, “Big Ticket is temporarily pausing its operations in compliance with the new directives of the Gaming Regulatory Authority in the UAE, effective 1st of April 2024.”
With the evolving regulatory landscape set by the Gaming Control and Regulation Authority (GCRA) to ensure a safe and regulated commercial gaming environment, Big Ticket decided to temporarily pause operations in April.
Apart from Big Ticket, Emirates Draw and Mahzooz also paused their operations and informed that the UAE will have a single national lottery operator licensed by the GCRA within the first quarter of the year. Both Emirates Draw and Mahzooz have reportedly completed the application process for the license.
In addition to the resumption of operations, Big Ticket also addressed the temporary closure of its Zayed International Airport and Al Ain Airport stores, with kiosks being temporarily disabled during this period. However, the raffle operator reassured its customers that it would maintain the highest standards of transparency in all prize-related matters. Expressing gratitude for the continued support from its customers, Big Ticket expressed its commitment to ensure that all previously won prizes are protected and guaranteed.
