Renault Group has announced the appointment of Bruno Laforge as its new Chief Human Resources Officer, effective 1 April 2025. Laforge, currently serving in the same role at Capgemini, will succeed François Roger and report directly to CEO Luca de Meo as part of the company’s Leadership Team.

Laforge, 56, has built an extensive career in Human Resources, particularly within fast-paced, tech-driven industries such as digital services, pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, and automotive. His expertise lies in talent management and organisational development, making him well-equipped to support Renault Group’s ongoing transformation.

Luca de Meo expressed confidence in Laforge’s ability to drive change, stating, “First of all, I would like to thank François for his commitment since joining the Group in 2018. I now look forward to working closely with Bruno as he continues and accelerates the global transformation of our company in the context of profound change in the industry. His extensive experience in talent management, as well as his international background, will be an essential asset for us in making Renault Group a ‘great company’.”

Before Capgemini, Laforge held key HR roles in the energy and pharmaceutical sectors. He was Vice President of Human Resources and Head of Mergers and Acquisitions in the energy industry before moving to Sanofi, where he spent 12 years in various leadership positions. These included VP HR in R&D, SVP HR of the Vaccines BU, and SVP Europe, culminating in his role as Chief Human Resources Officer & CSR. At Capgemini, he has led transformation initiatives since 2023.

With his appointment, Renault aims to leverage Laforge’s extensive background to navigate the evolving automotive landscape and strengthen its workforce strategy.
