Renault is a renowned global brand in the passenger vehicle industry in India and abroad. At Paris Motor Show Renault showcased its electric bike concept. Spectators were surprised when they saw a motorcycle parked at the Renault pavilion, called the Heritage Spirit Scrambler. This bike is a production-spec model which will soon hit the European roads which is priced at Rs 21.2 lakh. The bike has been designed by Ateliers Heritage Bike, which is a startup. The Heritage Spirit is a scrambler has neo-retro design elements inspired by 1980s design. The scrambler incorporates a futuristic theme while retaining the old-school classic styling cues. The graphics and styling have been done to maintain combination of both modern and retro elements.

Other design and aesthetic elements include a single-piece saddle with a ribbed pattern, a rectangular LED brake lamp, an oval LED headlamp, bar-end mirrors, short front and rear fenders, and wire-spoke 17-inch wheels. It has the conventional petrol engine which houses the battery within the chassis. The Heritage Spirit Scrambler is available in two variants: a 50cc equivalent and a 125cc equivalent, the latter being priced approx. Rs 22.74 lakh. The base trim can reach upto top speed of 45 kmph which makes it eligible for riders aged sixteen or above in Europe. On the other hand, the 125cc equivalent can reach a 99 kmph top speed and costs 24,950 Euros.Coming to its engine specifications, the base variant is powered by a 4kW motor which churns out 240 Nm of torque. It is equipped with a 3.2 kWh battery that gives an output of 80 km in a single charge. When it comes to the top-spec trim, it is powered by a 7kW motor which dishes out 280 Nm of torque. This version gets a larger 4.8 kWh battery that offers a range of 100 kmph in a single charge.

The Renault 4 E-Tech was unveiled bringing back the iconic design of the original Renault 4. It offers two powertrains, advanced safety features, and an eco-friendly production process along with open-air canvas roof, dual horizontal screens, and sustainable materials make this an eco-friendly option electric car enthusiasts. All eyes were on the Paris Motor Show to see if carmakers were still interested in the large-event format and the crowd and the audiences turned up in huge numbers proving such car events to be a grand success as the show officially closes today. It provided a platform for domestic carmakers to lineup their latest models while also highlighting brands from outside the continent.
