It declared that all of its ships across the global fleet now boast Starlink“s high-speed, low-latency global internet connectivity. This milestone marks a substantial enhancement to the onboard experience for both guests and crew, ensuring faster service, increased capacity, and more reliable Wi-Fi across Carnival Corporation”s portfolio of 90-plus ships and world-class cruise brands.

The implementation of Starlink represents the latest stride in Carnival Corporation”s ongoing commitment to innovation and investment in connectivity. Since 2019, the company”s bandwidth has quadrupled, positioning it as a leader in onboard connectivity strategies.

This upgrade rivals land-based connectivity experiences, enabling guests and crew to stay connected worldwide, from sharing moments on social media to streaming content and even working remotely. Moreover, it enhances operational capabilities, facilitating seamless equipment monitoring and real-time communication between ship and shore teams.

Josh Weinstein, CEO of Carnival Corporation, hailed Starlink as a game-changer, citing a surge in guest satisfaction due to the super-fast and reliable Wi-Fi service onboard.

The deployment of Starlink commenced in December 2022 with Carnival Cruise Line and AIDA Cruises ships, extending subsequently to other renowned cruise brands under Carnival Corporation.

This expansion of Starlink aligns with Carnival Corporation”s overarching strategy to offer reliable, high-speed Wi-Fi service akin to on-land experiences across its global fleet, spanning over 800 ports worldwide.
