Nifty Up At 40.25 Points And Sensex Rise 110 Points

The indices were in green today.

The values for today stood at, 19,306.05 at closing for Nifty, at 40.25 points up (0.21 percent). Registered a high at 19,366.85 and a low at 19249.70. Sensex closed at 64,996.60 at 110.09 points up or 0.17%. Though indices in green, it could be said that there was not much movement today. Modest.

The top gainers were Power grid corporation, L&T, CIPLA, Mahindra and Mahindra and BPCL. The top losers were, Jio Financial Services, Reliance, Adani enterprisers, Hindalco and Nestle India.

Midcap and smallcap indices inched forward, other sectors were in green too, while FMCG and IT lagged. Though Reliance AGM was held, it dint hold much sway as the Reliance and JioFin was in the drag.
