Reliance Industries' Jio World Plaza, India's Largest Luxury Mall, Opens Today

India”s largest luxury mall, Reliance Industries Limited”s (RIL) Jio World Plaza, opened its doors to visitors on November 1, 2023. Shoppers can expect an unprecedented experience at this mall, which offers a unique extravaganza of shopping.

The new mall, which is located in the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), India”s costliest commercial business district in Mumbai, is home to luxury labels including Balenciaga, Tory Burch, YSL, and Versace. These brands will showcase their products for affluent consumers in India.

According to reports, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Gucci, Burberry, Bulgari, IWC Schaffhausen, Rimowa, Richemont, and Kering are some of the luxury brands that will open exclusive stores at Jio World Plaza. Louis Vuitton will pay a rent of Rs. 40 lakh per month, while Dior will rent the area for Rs. 21 lakh per month. With all the luxury brands, Jio World Plaza is set to become India”s most expensive mall.

The Plaza will work together with the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, the Jio World Convention Centre, and the Jio World Garden to provide the best customer experience, the company said in a statement.

The plaza offers 66 luxury brands and has been designed as an exclusive hub for retail, leisure, and dining. Spread across four levels measuring 7.5 lakh square feet, the mall will house a variety of brands and experiences.
