A recent study by a firm revealed on Saturday that an astonishing 75% of the world’s richest individuals are entrepreneurs and not salaried. This whopping figure highlights the momentous role entrepreneurship plays in achieving success as the study analysed the world’s top billionaires uncovering the common thread of entrepreneurial spirit that binds them together.

Billionaires such as Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg have revolutionised industries and created jobs which would inspire bringing new initiatives into business as stated in the study. Their combined wealth exceeds $1.4 trillion and 9 out of the top 10 richest individuals are Americans and all are men, according to the data. Also, the remaining figure includes 15% investors, 7% Athletes and 3% Artists.
