Tata Nexon Emerges As The Best Sold Car In December 2023

Tata Motors” Nexon emerged as the top-selling car model in December 2023, followed by Maruti Dzire, Tata Punch, Maruti Ertiga, Maruti Brezza, Maruti Swift, Mahindra Scorpio N+ Classic, Maruti Baleno, Hyundai Venue, and Maruti Eeco in the top 10 positions, respectively.

Tata delivered a total of 15,284 Nexon models and 13787 Punch models to customers in December, which is a 27% and 30% rise compared to the same month in the previous year. Maruti sold 14,012 Dzire models, 12975 Ertiga models, 12,844 Brezza models, 11,843 Swift models, 10669 Baleno models, and 10,034 Eeco models with a 17%, 6%, 15%, -2%, -37%, and -5% rise, respectively.

Mahindra and Hyundai were able to sell 11355 Scorpio N+ Classic and 10,383 Venue, respectively, with a 62% and 25% jump. The total number of cars sold in December reached 2987204 units, which is a 4.4% growth compared to the same month in the previous year, with passenger vehicles witnessing a 14% month-on-month decline.
