78.69 % Students Pass Kerala Plus Two Exam; Result Marks A Dip By 4.2 %

Kerala Education Minister V Sivankutty today announced the result of the state Higher Secondary Plus Two examination. The state recorded a 78.69 pass percentage, as over four lakh students appeared for the exam. Notably, there has been a 4.2 per cent dip in the percentage of students who cleared the exam compared to last year’s result.

A total of 374855 regular students wrote the Plus Two exam, out of which 294888 have passed. Going by the department-wise result, science students have secured the highest record, with an 84.84 pass percentage. The Commerce Department followed with a 76. 11 pass percentage, while the Humanities Department saw a 67.09 pass percentage. 

A total of 39242 students have received full A+ 39242, which was 5247 more compared to last year’s number, 33815. 

The result will be available after 4. pm at the official websites: prd.kerala.gov.in, keralaresults.nic.in, results.kite.kerala.gov.in

The examinations were held between March 1 to 24 across 2024 schools and 2017 exam centres. The evaluation was carried out in 77 centres, with 24317 teachers conducting the evaluation

For those who could not manage to secure pass marks and those who want to improve their mark, the ‘improvement and say’ examination will be conducted soon.

The Minister yesterday announced the State’s SSLC examination result, which saw a 99.69% pass percentage with 71831 students gained full A+.
