CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Results 2024 Declared, 29.78% Pass

Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the Class 12 supplementary results on the official website. The CBSE Class 12 supplementary results can be accessed from results.cbse.nic.in and digilocker facility of the government. The exams were held in 15,397 schools and 917 centres on July 15. 1,31/,396 students had appeared for the exam out of which 1,27,473 appeared in the exam and 37,957 qualified for higher education with a pass percentage of 29.78.

The supplementary examinations were held for students who were placed in the Compartment Category due to the reason that they were unable to secure qualifying marks in 1 subject out of 5 mandatory subjects, and also for students with 6 subjects who were declared passed by replacing the main subjects from the additional subjects due to the reason that they were unable to secure qualifying marks in 01 of the main subjects.

Also, the CBSE results have now been announced for the students who were declared pass but wished to improve their performance.

Earlier students were allowed to improve their performance only next year during the main examination.

Apart from the domestic exam centres, the supplementary exam was also held in 26 countries abroad.

CBSE has declared the result within a fortnight by working in such a manner to avoid inconvenience to the above-mentioned categories of candidates so that their admission in the higher education courses could be considered based on their performances in supplementary examinations.

According to the CBSE statement, girls have outperformed the boys in this exam as well, with 5.57 per cent more girls passing the CBSE class 12 supplementary examination.

CBSE has also said the verification process for the results announced today will start on August 6, and the notification for this will be released separately.
