As per the university data, 27,554 candidates have a higher preference through their choice of upgrade under the first round. Admission to upgraded seat will be considered complete only after successful realization of the admission fees.

DU Round II Seat Allocation Acceptance Option Ends Today

The University of Delhi announced the Second Round of allocation to the Undergraduate Programs in various colleges on Sunday, August 25, 2024. Candidates shortlisted in Round II are advised to log in to the dashboard and accept the allocation by August 27, by 5 PM. Candidates will be able to submit the fees by 04:59 p.m., Friday, August 30, 2024. Only the candidates who will make the payment will be able to opt for “Upgrade” for the subsequent round.

In the second allocation round, the university will do extra allocations to fill the seats to start the academic session on August 29, 2024.

The University of Delhi has sanctioned a total number of nearly 71,600 seats. In the round I a total of 65,775 admissions have been confirmed with 43,067 candidates opting for Upgrade and 20,829 candidates froze their seats in the first round.

Where is in the new allocation in Round II a total of 24,869 candidates have been allocated seats. As per the university data, 27,554 candidates have a higher preference through their choice of upgrade under the first round. Admission to upgraded seat will be considered complete only after successful realization of the admission fees.

As per the University policy, all candidates who were rejected in Round I due to invalid certificates/documents have been reconsidered in the second round under the UR category as per their merit and preference, subject to the availability of seats.

Since the new allocation of already admitted candidates will be active, the college will be able to process the applications as soon as they are allocated.

The University will declare the allocations to Performance-based programs
and Supernumerary quotas of CW, ECA, Sports, and Ward in the Third Round of allocations. The schedule for the third round will be declared soon.

The candidates must visit the admission website of the University – admission.uod.ac.in regularly for all updates.
