Haryana TET December 2024 Exam Postponed; New Dates To Be Announced
The Board of Secondary Education Haryana (BSEH) has announced the delay in the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2024. As per the official notice, the State government has approved the proposal to postpone the exam, originally scheduled for December 7 and 8, 2024.
The notice states, “The State Government is agreeable with your proposal to postpone the HTET Examination, 2024 scheduled to be held on December 7, 2024, and December 8, 2024, until further orders. Accordingly, the concerned may be informed. Further the approval regarding the dates to hold the HTET Examination, 2024 may be obtained later”.

According to the official notice, the revised dates of the HTET 2024 exams are not finalized yet. The examination remains postponed until further notice. The new exam schedule will be announced once the dates are confirmed.
HTET December 2024 Exam Pattern
The HTET will be conducted for the following three levels:
- Candidates who intend to teach for classes I to V (PRT- primary teacher)
- Candidates who intend to teach for classes VI to VIII (TGT- Trained Graduate Teacher)
- Candidates who intend to teach for classes PGT (Post Graduate Teacher)

The Haryana TET 2024 question paper will comprise multiple-choice questions. The duration of the examination will be 150 minutes, and the exam will be held in pen and paper mode. Each question carries one mark and there is no negative marking in the exam.
