
IISC, JNU, BHU Among Top Universities Of NIRF Rankings 2025
The Ministry of Education has released the National Institutional Ranking Framework 2025. The NIRF ranking is released every year by the ministry, demonstrating the performance of universities.
Indian Institute of Science has secured the highest rank among the universities and rank 2 among the overall institutions with a score of 85.
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has secured rank 2 among the universities and an overall rank of 9 with a score of 69.62. Banaras Hindu University has secured a place among the top 10 with a total score of 68.71.

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), a NAAC A++ accredited central university, has secured the 4th position in the NIRF University Rankings 2025. JMI has secured an overall score of 66.99 with an overall rank of 13.
IIT Madras has secured the top ranks with an overall score of 87.31. IIT Bombay has secured rank 3 with an overall score of 86.2.
