IIT Bombay’s TechConnect 2024 scheduled For December 17 To 19
Mumbai, Maharashtra: IIT Bombay’s TechConnect 2024 is a premier event aimed at highlighting the institute’s ground breaking research and development achievements that showcases its commitment to addressing societal needs, fulfilling industry requirements, and contributing significantly to fundamental research. It, according to a statement from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, provides an invaluable platform for industries to engage with IIT Bombay faculty and students, fostering the exchange of ideas and exploring potential collaborations.
This year’s TechConnect 2024 is scheduled to be held from 17th December to 19th December 2024.
The event comprises of Exhibition (at Physics Parking Lot), Symposiums (at Third Floor, VMCC), and ResCon (at PC Saxena Auditorium). The exhibition will feature an impressive array of exhibits from various academic units, including working models, demos, and products that underscore our technological advancements.
The symposiums will have engaging sessions, presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities that will help drive forward new collaborations. The ResCon aims to stimulate engineering curiosity in UG students and create a platform for UG researchers to display their research work offering a variety of exciting competitions, workshops, keynote speeches, and much more.
TechConnect 2024 will be inaugurated by Dr. Samir V Kamat, Secretary DD (R&D) and Chairman DRDO on 17th December 2024 at 9:00 am at Physics Parking Lot followed by his Talk on “Defense R&D – Challenges and Opportunites” at 10:20 am at PC Saxena Auditorium. We are anticipating many companies to join this event and this will be an excellent opportunity for faculty members to foster industry-academia collaborations and for students to explore career opportunities by networking with these companies.
