Jamia Millia Islamia Starts Registration For ‘Artificial Intelligence And Machine Learning’ Program
Jamia Millia Islamia University (JMI), New Delhi, has invited applications for admission to the Short Term Training Programme on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The last date for submitting the registration form is May 24, 2025.
A total of 160 seats are available for this STTP out of which 60 seats are for offline participants and 100 seats will be for online participants all of whom will be admitted strictly on First Come First Served Basis (FSFS).

The Department of Computer Engineering, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) will conduct a three-week Short Term Training Programme (STTP) on ‘Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)’ in a hybrid mode.
The 50-hour duration STTP will start from 1st July to 19th July, 2025. All Diploma, UG, PG as well as Ph.D. candidates with a Maths background are eligible for the course.
Course Structure
This STTP shall have theory classes of 20 hours duration and hands-on practical training for 30 hours. It will comprise of five modules, namely,
- Introduction of AI & Python Programming Basics
- Applied Data Science with Python
- Machine Learning Algorithms
- Deep Learning for Computer Vision with Keras & Tensorflow
- Deep Learning for NLP with Keras & Tensorflow

Experts from JMI and other reputed central/foreign universities, IITs, NIITs, IIITs as well as industry will be the resource person for the course. A Certificate shall be provided at the end of successful completion of the STTP to the participants.
