The Kerala SSLC examination will begin on March 6, 2026. Kerala General Education Minister V. Sivankutty announced that 4,17,497 students have registered for the Class 10 board examinations this year. The exams will be conducted across 3,031 centres, including 7 in the Gulf region and 9 in Lakshadweep.

While exams in Kerala and Lakshadweep will begin as scheduled and conclude on March 30, tests slated for March 5, 6, and 7 in Gulf centres have been postponed owing to the regional security concerns in parts of the Middle East. Notably, CBSE has also announced the postponement of the board exams in Gulf centres, slated to be held till March 7.

Revised dates for these centres will be announced separately. A total of 633 candidates have registered in Gulf centres and 386 in Lakshadweep.

The government has mobilised nearly 26,000 teachers for invigilation duty. Chief superintendents have been appointed in all centres to ensure strict supervision and adherence to norms.

Authorities confirmed that answer sheets have been distributed to all 41 District Educational Offices. Question Papers, after sorting and verification, have been secured in treasuries and bank lockers to prevennt any breach.
