Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is expected to announce the class 10th (SSC) and class 12th (HSC) board results soon. The students, who had appeared for the SSC and HSC exams may check their results via the board’s official results” website – mahresult.nic.in. According to the reports, the result was expected to be announced on May 10, 2024, however, no official comment came regarding the date and time yet.
However, on the Maharashtra SSC and HSC results being announced today, the MSBSHSE Board Chairman, Sharad Gosavi confirmed that it will not be happening today.
This year class 10th (SSC) and 12th (HSC) board exams were commenced from March 1- 26, 2024, and February 21 to March 19, 2024, respectively. Nearly 16 lakh students appeared for the SSC exams and 14 lakh for the HSC exams in Maharashtra boards.
In 2023, the overall pass percentage for class 10th was 91.25%. Last year, Konkan emerged as the best-performing district with a 96.01% pass percentage followed by Pune and Kolhapur.
To pass the board exams, students must receive at least 35% of the total marks in each subject in both theory and practical, according to MSBSHSE regulations. Students who will not be satisfied with the result can apply for a re-evaluation by paying a certain amount of fee.

Step 1: Go to the official website – mahresult.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the Maharashtra SSC, and HSC Result 2024 links available on the home page.
Step 3: Enter the login details – roll number and mother’s first name and click on submit.
Step 4: The result will be displayed on the screen. Download and save/printout for future use.
