NEET UG 2024 Counselling To Start Tomorrow By MCC

NEET UG 2024 counselling registration process will be started by the National Medical Council tomorrow, August 14. Candidates who have qualified the NEET UG 2024 exam can apply for counselling through the MCC official website – mcc.nic.in.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), will commence the first round of counselling for 1,09,145 MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) and 27,868 BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) seats. Nearly 1,000 BSc Nursing seats will also be allocated through NEET counselling, apart from several others in AYUSH and veterinary courses across India.

The Medical Commission will conduct the counselling process for the 15 per cent all-India Quota seats and 100 per cent seats of all AIIMS, all central university seats, JIPMER (Pondicherry), and 100 per cent deemed university seats.

Out of the total seats for UG medical and dental courses, 15% of the seats are allocated to the All India Quota, while remaining 85% seats are filled viae State Counselling. Through NEET AIQ seats, candidates can take admission to medical institute in any state in other than their domicile status.

The counselling will be conducted in multiple rounds to allocate seats in MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and veterinary courses.

Candidates appearing for the Counselling must have registered and scored above than required cut off marksin NEET UG result 2024. Candidates from Jammu and Kashmir are eligible for All India Quota counselling process

States have also started their respective counselling process for the admission to the medical colleges. Punjab, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu NEET UG counselling process is underway.
