The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the city information slips and admit cards for the JEE Main 2024 (for the session 2) soon. Candidates can visit the official website – jeemain.nta.ac.in – to keep updated. However, the exam city slip was expected to be released in the third week of March.
The second session of the JEE Main examination is going to be held from April 1 to April 15, 2024 in two shifts – from 9AM-12PM and 3PM-6PM.
Notably, JEE (Main) 2024 Session -2 correction window is also open.
Those who qualify at this stage will be eligible to appear in the next level of JEE Advanced. As per the information, the online registration for the next round will be done from April 21 till April 30 and the JEE Advanced 2024 is expected to be scheduled on May 26, 2024.
JEE Main 2024 exam is being conducted in two different sessions. During the application process, candidates had the option to apply for a single session or for both sessions. The 2 opportunities provide candidates to improve their scores in the examination if they could not perform well in the first session. The two-session arrangement reduces the chances of dropping and saving an entire year.
Mentioning that if a candidate is appearing in both the sessions then his or her best the NTA score will be considered to prepare the ranking.
JEE Main comprises two papers for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs and CFTIs and admission to B. Arch and B. Planning.
