
SHRESHTA (NETS) 2025 Forms Out For Meritorious Schedule Caste Students; Exam Pattern
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has invited applications for the National Entrance Test for Scheme for Residential Education for Students in High Classes in Targeted Areas (SHRESHTA (NETS)) – 2025. Candidates can visit the official website, exams.nta.ac.in, to fill out the application.
SHRESHTA provides high-quality education for meritorious Scheduled Castes (SCs) students only, in CBSE-affiliated, reputed residential schools. Nearly 3000 seats would be provided in classes 9th and 11th, which The fully funded by the Central Government.
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has entrusted the responsibility of conducting SHRESHTA – NETS. The NTA will conduct the exam in offline mode for admission to classes 9th and 11th for Schedule Caste students.

SHRESHTA (NETS) – 2025: Important Dates
- The application window is open from April 15, 2025, till May 5, 2025 (up to 5 pm).
- The correction in particulars is allowed till May 6, 2025.
- SHRESHTA – NETS 2025 examination will be held on June 1, 2025.
- Admit cards will be available to download from the NTA website on May 25, 2025.
- The result will be declared within 4-6 weeks after the exam.
SHRESHTA (NETS) – 2025: Exam Pattern
- The exam will be Multiple Choice Question (MCQ)
- Duration of Exam: 3 hours (180 minutes)
- Mode of Exam: Pen & Paper on the OMR (offline mode)
- Question Paper Medium: Bilingual (Hindi and English)
