UPSC Civil Services 2025 Results Out: Meet The Top 10 Rank Holders
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025. The results were declared on March 6, 2026, after the completion of the written examination held in August 2025 and the personality test interviews conducted between December 2025 and February 2026.
Anuj Agnihotri secured All India Rank (AIR) 1, emerging as the topper of the prestigious civil services examination.

According to the Union Public Service Commission, the top 10 candidates in the Civil Services Examination 2025 are:

According to the commission, a total of 958 candidates have been recommended for appointment to key government services including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and other Central Services in Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’.
Among the selected candidates, 317 belong to the general category, 104 to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), 306 to Other Backward Classes (OBC), 158 to Scheduled Castes (SC) and 73 to Scheduled Tribes (ST). The list also includes candidates from the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) categories.

The government had earlier reported 1,087 vacancies to be filled through the examination. These include 180 posts in IAS, 55 in IFS and 150 in IPS, along with several positions in other central services.
The final merit list is prepared based on candidates’ performance in the UPSC mains examination and the personality test interview. The commission stated that the marks of candidates will be published on the official website within 15 days of the result announcement.

The Civil Services Examination is considered one of the most competitive exams in India. It is conducted annually by UPSC to recruit officers for top administrative services of the Government of India. The selection process includes three stages – Preliminary examination, Mains examination and Personality Test (Interview).
