What NTA Announced For JEE Candidates Appearing On Jan 28, 29?

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued fresh guidelines to the students appearing for the JEE Main Session 1 exam on January 28 and 29, 2026. As per the fresh notice, NTA will be conducting Face Authentication plus Aadhar biometrics of candidates to enhance the security of the exam.

NTA has advised candidates to arrive earlier to ensure a hassle-free verification process.

NTA has released the admit cards for the candidates appearing on Janaury 28, and 29. Registered candidates can download it from jeemain.nta.nic.in using their application number and password.

Also, with the completion of the JEE Main exams candidates are expecting the cut off to be eligible for admission to engineering institutes via JEE Advanced 2026.

The JEE Main cutoff is released as a qualifying percentile and is different for each category. The cut off depends on various factors such as number of candidates, the difficulty level of the exam, shift-wise normalisation and overall student performance.
