Dilip Manglu Borse of the BJP party won the Balgan constituency in the 2024 Maharashtra assembly election. With an impressive margin of 1,59,681 votes, the BJP candidate retains himself as the MLA of this constituency.
Dilip has secured a total of 1,59,681 votes and defeated the Nationalist Congress Party candidate, Chavan Dipika Sanjay. The NCP candidate bagged a total of 30,384 votes.
In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Dilip Manglu Borse of BJP won in this seat defeating Sau Dipika Sanjay Chavan of NCP by a margin of 33,722 which was 20.28% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 56.95% in 2019 in this seat.

In the 2014 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Chavan Dipika Sanjay of NCP won in this seat defeating Borse Dilip Manglu of BJP by a margin of 4,181 which was 2.67% of the total votes cast for the seat. NCP had a vote share of 43.69% in 2014 in this seat.
In the 2009 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Umaji Manglu Borse of BJP won in this seat defeating Chavan Sanjay Kantilal of IND by a margin of 2,562 which was 2.11% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 45.31% in 2009 in this seat.
