Barhait Election Result 2024: Hemant Soren Leads Against BJP Candidate

Barhait Assembly election is the focus constituency of Jharkhand as the current Chief Minister of Jharkhand and member of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) contested from here. BJP Gamaliyan Hembrom is running against Soren in Barhait. As per the election commission’s prediction, Hemant Soren is leading the constituency against the BJP candidate Gamaliyan Hembrom in Barhait.

As per the ECI’s current voting pattern, Hemant Soren secured victory with 39791 votes against his BJP competitor. INDIA bloc is currently leading on 54 out of 81 seats in Jharkhand Election Assembly results 2024. The JMM-led alliance is now set to retain power for a second consecutive term in Jharkhand.

In the 2019 elections, Hemant Soren secured a victory with 73,725 votes against his nearest competitor Simon Marandi who got 47,985 votes. In 2014, also Soren remained successful with 62,515 votes while BJP Hemlal Murmu secured 38,428 votes.

Axis my India predicted a JMM-Congress victory with 53 out of 81 seats. Similarly other exist polls predicted victory of INDIA alliance in the state.
