In the Kondli assembly constituency, which is part of East Delhi (Lok Sabha constituency) and was created by the delimitation commission in 2008, Kuldeep Kumar (Monu) of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) emerged victorious with 61,792 votes.
Priyanka Gautam of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured 55,499 votes, losing by a margin of 6,293 votes.
Akshay Kumar of the Indian National Congress garnered 7,230 votes, suffering a significant loss of 54,562 votes.
Kuldeep Kumar (Monu) has an educational qualification of 12th Pass and has declared MLA as his profession. According to his election affidavit, he possesses total assets worth Rs 48.4 lakh and liabilities amounting to Rs 7.6 lakh.
