BJP Repeats Soros-Links’ Allegation, Releases New Rahul Gandhi Poster (image: instagram/BJP)
On Thursday, BJP on their social media page attacked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi by calling him “new age Ravan” and has sparked debates. Following, on Friday, the BJP continued to take their jibe at Mr Gandhi through a new poster.
In the new poster Mr Gandhi is pictured as a puppet where strings is placed in the hands of George Soros. The picture is posted on BJP’s official social media page on X, with the caption: “Puppet in the hand of foreign powers…”

Mr Soros is a Hungarian-American businessman and philanthropist who funds liberal and political causes. BJP alleges that the hedge fund tycoon and investor is running an agenda against India.
In the previous post, designed as a motion picture poster, presented Mr Gandhi in multiple heads like Ravan with a body armour. “The new age Ravan is here. He is Evil. Anti Dharma. Anti Ram. His aim is to destroy Bharat,” the BJP wrote in the post on X.

The poster evoked sharp criticism from Congress, and Senior Congress MP Jairam Ramesh wrote on X that the real intent behind BJP to portray Mr Gandhi as Ravan was to “incite” and “provoke” violence against him. “It is clearly intended to incite and provoke violence against a Congress MP and a former President of the party, whose father and grandmother were assassinated by forces that want to divide India,” he said on X.
Similarly, KC Venugopal, Congress”s general secretary in charge of organisation said on X: “No words are enough to condemn the shameful graphic on the BJP handle comparing Sh. Rahul Gandhi ji to Ravana. Their nefarious intentions are clear, they want to murder him.”
