Chatra Election Result 2024: Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) Candidate Janardhan Paswan Won

The Jharkhand Assembly election vote count is underway by the Election Commission of India and JMM is running ahead in the state on 33 seats. With BJP telly of 22, INC at 16, RJD at 5, and AJSUP at 1, JMM is looking forward to winning the election currently

In the Chatra constituency, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) candidate Janardhan Paswan was running ahead of RJD candidate Rashmi Prakash and won with 18401 votes.

A total of 13 candidates were in the election fray for the Chatra Assembly seat in the Jharkhand Assembly election 2024. In the 2024 Jharkhand Assembly election, the people of Chatra constituency voted on November 13, 2024 and the counting of votes took place on November 23, 2024. There were a total of 4,23,869 registered voters on the electoral rolls for the 2024 Assembly election in Chatra Assembly constituency, of which 2,15,915 were male, 2,07,952 female and 2 of the third gender.

In the 2019 Jharkhand Assembly elections, RJD candidate Satyanand Bhokta won the Chatra seat defeating Janardan Paswan of BJP by a margin of 24,055 (10.98%) votes cast for the seat. RJD had a vote share of 46.41% in the 2019 assembly election on Chatra seat.

In the 2014 Jharkhand Assembly elections, the BJP’s Jay Prakash Singh Bhogta won this election after defeating Satyanand Bhokta of JVM with a margin of 20,576 (11.31%) votes. BJP had a vote share of 38.34% in 2014 on Chatra seat.

In the 2009 Jharkhand Assembly elections, the RJD candidate Janardan Paswan won the seat after defeating Subedar Paswan of BJP with a margin of 38,555 (29.15%) votes. RJD had a vote share of 50.99% in 2009 in Chatra constituency.
