All India Congress Committee announced its fourth list of candidates in Rajasthan on Tuesday. The assembly elections are scheduled to be held on November 25, 2023 with the counting of votes on December 3,2023. The list has bought the total number of nominees declared by the party to 151.

In a meeting attended by chairperson Sonia Gandhi, party chief Mallikarjun Kharge and members of the Central Election Committee (CEC), Congress party decided the remaining party candidates in Rajasthan.
Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot and state party chief Govind Singh Dotasra were also present in the meeting. 56 names of the candidates were declared in the meeting.
On Thursday, a meeting was held of its CEC to decide on tickets that had to be given to the remaining party candidates. Among the nominees, 13 are sitting MLAs.
So far, Congress has declared candidates on 95 of 200 assembly seats in Rajasthan. According to the election commission the date for issuing the gazette notification in Rajasthan is October 30 and the last date for filling the nomination in Rajasthan is November 6. The nominations will be scrutinized on November 7 and the last date of withdrawal of candidature is November 9.
Earlier on Sunday, the party unveiled its second list of 43 candidates and the initial list of 33 candidates was announced on Saturday.

In the third list, speaker Rajendra Prateek was filed from Sikar. In the 2018 Rajasthan assembly elections, Congress won 99 seats while BJP won 73 seats in the 200-member house. Meanwhile, assembly elections will be also held in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Mizoram between November 7 and 30. The counting of votes for all the five states will be on December 3.
