“Hello @himantabiswa, please ask your boss @AmitShah to verify it. Even Amit Shah was presented with a copy of the Constitution of India (Coat Pocket edition) by team @ebcindia @scconline_,” Zubai wrote in his post on X (formerly Twitter).

Taking to his social media platform, the Assam Chief Minister had asked that the constitution Rahul Gandhi carried in his hand need to be verified, expressing his doubt whether the constitution was of China.
“The original copy of the Constitution of India has a blue cover. The original Chinese constitution has a red cover. Does Rahul carry a Chinese Constitution? We will need to verify,” he wrote in a post on X.
Addressing a press conference later, the Chief Minister further said that the original Constitution of India has Ram and Krishna”s photo on every page. Himanta Sarma then said that the Constitution that Rahul Gandhi carries is red colour, and it cannot be “red” because “India was not built through a revolution.”
“It was built through civilisation. China”s Constitution can be red,” the chief minister added.
