
"Ghar Wapsi Of Delhi To Congress", Timarpur Candidate Lokendra Kalyan Singh
Timarpur, New Delhi: Timeline reached to Delhi Vidhan Sabha Timarpur Candidate Lokendra Kalyan Singh who is running against AAP candidate Surendra Pal Singh and BJPs’ Surya Prakash Khatri.
When asked about whether Congress will win the capital after 10 years, the Congress candidate said, “We are confident to win Delhi back, and Congress is winning the Timarpur Lok Sabha seat this time”. In Lok Sabha AAP and Congress fought togehter under INDIA alliance, but now they are fightening each other, to this question, he said, “This is the thing of the past and has no credibility today”.

Why Congress could not Delhi for the last 10 years, answering this, the Congress candidate Lokendra Kalyan Singh said, “AAP mislead people in the past elections and people looked for something new, but now Congress is coming back in Delhi and people of Delhi are putting trust in Congress again. Definetly, on February 8, Congress government is coming back in Delhi with full majority”.
Timarpur Vidhan Sabha one of the 70 constitutencies in Delhi situated near Delhi University. Timarpur is the first organised government colony estalished by the government. The Timarpur market is one of the oldest in India established in 1911 during British Raj when Delhi was declared as a capital.
In 2020, AAP candidate Dilip Pandy won Timarpur seat with 71,432 votes followed by BJP’s Surindra Pal Singh who secured 47,288 votes. In 2015, also AAP candidate secured the seat from Timarpur constituency.
