Priyanka Gandhi To Join Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra On February 24

The Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi will join Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra on February 24, as per reports. She had planned to join Rahul Gandhi when the Yatra reached Uttar Pradesh. However, due to some health complications and resultant hospitalisation, she could not participate then. Taking to her social media platform on X (foremerly twitter), the congress leader had on February 16 said that she was eagerly waiting for the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra to reach Uttar Pradesh.

“I was eagerly waiting for the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra to reach Uttar Pradesh, but due to illness, I had to be admitted to the hospital today itself. I will join the journey as soon as I feel better. Till then, I wish all the passengers reaching Chandauli-Banaras, my colleagues and my dear brother from Uttar Pradesh who are diligently preparing for the journey,” Priyanka Gandhi wrote.

However, Priyanka Gandhi would accompany Rahul Gandhi from Moradabad via Amroha, Sambhal, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Hathras, and Agra, concluding at Fatehpur Sikri, as per reports

The Yatra is set to resume from Moradabad on Saturday. As per reports, the Yatra will be paused on February 26 for Rahul Gandhi’s Cambridge University lecture and some other political events. It will then continue on March 2 from Dholpur.

Moreover, the Samajwadi Party chief and former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav will also join the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Agra on February 25. The Congress had invited the SP chief for the Yatra after the seat-sharing discussions reportedly became successful.
