In Rajasthan”s Kishan Pole seat, Congress candidate Amin Kagzi won with 76611 votes. Amin Kagzi defeated Chandra Manohar Batwara Advocate of the BJP, who got 69555 votes. Kishan Pole, a major constituency in Rajasthan, witnessed a tough fight between the BJP and INC in the 2023 Assembly election. None of the Above (NOTA) garnered 1026 votes.
The elections to the Rajasthan State Assembly were held on November 25, 2023, for 199 seats. In 2018, 46 candidates competed in the Kishan pole constituency. The total percentage of polled votes was 71.90. Amin Kagzi of the INC won the election in 2018. He secured a total of 71,189 votes. Mohan Lal Gupta of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won this constituency in the 2003, 2008, and 2013 elections.
In the 2013 assembly elections, Mohan Lal Gupta defeated Congress”s Amin Kagzi. Mohan Lal received 68240 votes, and Amin got 58555 votes in 2018. NOTA came in third with 1498 votes then. The constituency had 182965 electors then.
In 2008, Mohan Lal Gupta defeated Ask Ali by 56,245 votes. This time, BSP came in third with 2198. The total number of electors was 183310 in 2008. Out of the total 199 seats in the desert state, the BJP won 115 seats and the INC got 69 seats. Independent candidates secured victory in eight seats. Along with Rajasthan, the assembly elections were held in four other states, including Madhya Pradesh, Telengana, Chhattisgarh, and Mizoram.
