Tamil Nadu Assembly Election Results: Actor/ TVK's Vijay Leads In Perambur, Trails In Tiruchi East

Chennai, Tamil Nadu: As per the early trend in the Tamil Nadu assembly elections result, Actor-politician Vijay led TVK is leading in Perambur and Tiruchirappalli East constituencies as counting began on Monday. The actor politician had contested in two seats.

Perambur had leaned towards  the DMK in recent elections, with the party securing victory during the 2021 assembly elections. Perambur, Assembly constituency no. 12, sits in North Chennai under the Chennai North Lok Sabha seat.

Notably, Vijay’s TVK is leading in Tamil Nadu assembly election in 76 seats while the opposition AIADMK is leading in 55 seats. The ruling DMK is leading in 52 seats.
