Chhattisgarh former chief minister and party leader Dr Raman Singh comments as BJP takes lead in all three states- Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. He said that there is a clear support for the BJP in trends. “The anger of people has been reflected in voting. BJP will form the government in all three states with an absolute majority…”, he added.
Till 11 am Congress was able to maintain a lead, but things have taken a sharp turnover as BJP is currently leading crossing half way mark. Raman Singh also added that people have came to know that the Congress guarantees are fake and hence opted to believe in Modi’s government.
He then pointed out the result of Bhupesh and said he is trailing in two rounds. “Chhattisgarh has rejected Congress”, Raman Singh added.

“Lotus has bloomed in all three states” Raman Singh say as BJP leads with 53 seats . When enquired about who will be the chief minister if the party comes into power, he said, “This would be the party”s decision. I never asked for anything, whatever job I was assigned, I did it with all dedication.”
Dr Raman Singh, widely known as the ‘chawal wale baba’ contested election from Rajnandgaon constituency. He is a respected figure from the BJP and also one of the longest-serving chief ministers .
Though he was widely regarded for his 15 years as chief minister, his government faced several allegations which includes, corruption, the state-sponsored militia, Salwa Judum, created in the name to take on Maoists which later became controversial after allegations of violence against the villagers. But his highly praised development projects for the state includes Chhattisgarh Food Security Act, 2012 implemented to provide food and nutrition security.
